The first post of the newly redesigned site is about our recent trip to Southern California. During the last week in March we spent a couple of days in San diego visiting Seaworld and the incredible Zoo and then we left the city to get into the wilderness of the Anza Borrego State Park.

The desert was really fun, as the pictures try to show, with a lot of hiking and driving off-road in our rented four-wheel-drive. However the coolest things was that we stayed at the hotel where movie stars and other famous people -- among which Marylin Monroe! -- used to come to spend a few days away from their stressful (!) lives in Hollywood.
